Welcome to the website for Radio Leacock, the special radio station from the TDSB. This radio station was created at Stephen Leacock Collegiate Institute in 1970 and is currently run by Mr. Richard Houghton and students of the club. Radio Leacock broadcasts live from Monday to Friday in the morning and during lunch. Not only do we provide our student body with entertainment, the hosts also benefit from this! This is a stress-reliving club as there’s not much that is required except your attendance. The quiet studio offers peace and a comfortable environment for our hosts to relax and hang out with other members during their show.

Location and Equipment

Each show is done downstairs in our private Radio Leacock studio. We are equipped with computers, an Alan and Heath console, speakers, Pro Tools and Adobe Audition software. As each member hosts his or her show, experience is gained from interacting with all the diverse equipment.
